It’s that time of year… Don’t forget to return your books to avoid fines as the school year comes to an end! There are book return slots in the Check-Out Desk and the security desk, near the library’s main entrances.
If you need to return a book while the library is closed, you can use the drive-up book drop boxes at the front of campus. These two boxes are located in the turnaround at the University Parkway entrance to campus, near the flagpoles, and are labeled as “library book drop.”
A walk-up drop box is located at the northeast corner of the Pfau Library building, just outside the alcove that holds the elevators and stairwell. A vending machine stands to the right of the drop box.
View all the book drop locations in our video About the Library: Book Drops.
You can use the drop boxes to return library materials any time the library is closed. But if the library is open, it’s best to return your books inside the library to avoid fines. The outside drop boxes are checked only once a day, in the morning.
Please note that any items checked out from the Reserves Desk must be returned to the Reserves Desk only.
